For years the most punk-rock of reading series has been hosted at the Turf Club. This Wednesday marks a special Riot Act at the 501 Club. What does this mean? Major changes include a lower age restriction (the Turf is a 21+ spot), a later start time, and free admission. Sounds pretty good, right? To celebrate the series branching out to Hennepin County, the event's founders, Laura Brandenburg and Paul Dickenson, will read from raucous works sure to delight and entertain. During the evening the Goondas and Unicorn Dream Attack will serenade attendees with high-energy rock 'n' roll tunes. Tater tots and beer are also a must at this reading/party. 18+.
