Expand your horizons with an evening of Middle Eastern dance. Jawaahir's director Cassandra knows how create an atmosphere both sensual and sublimely traditional with dances from Egypt, Lebanon, Tunisia, and the Saudi Gulf. She also knows how to take these traditions in lots of new directions, adding contemporary, theatrical, and even campy twists (not to mentions undulations) of her own. This evening promises an intimate performance where you can watch rhythmically charged impulses course and meander through the bodies of exotically costumed dancers.
