vs. Washington Stealth

So far the Swarm, Minnesota's second favorite team to call the Xcel Energy Center home, have not gotten off to a stellar start. At press time they were in the cellar of the National Lacrosse League's western division, and they're having a hard time scoring goals. But don't let that stop you from heading to downtown St. Paul this Saturday. The Swarm still know how to make their games an appealing option for family entertainment. Tonight's game against the undefeated Washington Stealth will feature a Texas Hold 'Em tournament put on by the Running Aces Harness Park (register early online), and, in an effort to promote the sport among girls, there will be an all-day clinic for players in grades 6 through 12 which includes a ticket to the game. And for the romantic lacrosse couple: Buzz, the Swarm's mascot who, flying in the face of all sports mascot logic is simply a cartoonish human lacrosse player, will be available to make special deliveries to loved ones. Hubba hubba.
