For those looking to celebrate a little early for Valentine's Day, this might be the party for you. The bohemian lifestyle expounds on the virtues of truth, beauty, and love—all romantic things. During this event, guests will step into 19th-century Paris, a time and place filled with lusty romantics, poets, and artsy drunks. The evening will serve as an interactive preview party for the Minnesota Opera's production of La Boheme, and the stars of the show will be on hand to discuss their work. The party will also be a feast for the senses, with gypsy jazz by the Parisota Hot Club, appetizers and a cash bar, and artwork by Jamie Dean, Ryan Nygard, and Bethany Heemeyer. There will also be fashions by local designer Samatha Rei of Blasphemina's Closet and neo-Victorian jewelry by Kristin Berwald of Bionic Unicorn. Period-appropriate attire is encouraged.
