Are you in the mood for love? Come by the Art of Romance Soiree and you will be. For a heartwarming evening, pack up your sweetheart and head over to the Artist Mercantile. This event is the perfect way to celebrate the season of love without shelling out the big bucks for Tiffany's and Dom Perignon. Free of charge, the Soiree will feature live romantic poetry compliments of the St. Paul Poetry Slam Team, mood-setting wine and chocolates, and the Valentines-inspired work of 65 artists. Stained and fused glass, locally crafted jewelry, and Kris Nelson's refurbished and hand-painted chairs will all be showcased. If cupid has struck you, get involved by submitting your favorite love quote to be displayed for public viewing at the event. If carats, conversation hearts, roses, and whispered sweet nothings aren't your thing, check out the Art of Romance Soiree regardless. Along with getting a special evening with your honey, you'll also be supporting local artists.
