Baseball may be the ultimate summertime sport, but that doesn't mean you have to wait for the ground to thaw to watch a game live in Minnesota. Part of the Saint Paul Winter Carnival, the IceBall will feature an all-out baseball game played completely in the snow (and probably a good deal of ice). Players will include St. Paul Saints both past and present against the St. Croix Base Ball Club. Tailgating begins at 11 a.m. with food, drinks, and entertainment, so be sure to bundle up if you plan to make a full day of it. Proceeds and donations collected during the game will benefit Second Harvest Heartland.
