Former NFL quarterback Kordell Stewart was nicknamed "Slash," because he was both a signal caller and receiver. Dude has nothing on Chris Hardwick: comedian, actor, musician (the duo Hard & Phirm), voiceover artist, writer, radio personality, and TV host (Singled Out, Shipmates). With so many job titles, it is no wonder the Louisville native ignores requests for press interviews. Recounting his Southern heritage, this son of former pro bowler Billy Hardwick tells audiences, "I feel like I'm a recovering hick." He further explains, "They want to keep the hicks tightly packed in the middle of the country, but they eat a lot of greasy food. They're very slippery; they can slip through cracks where they lay their eggs behind walls. My father owns a bowling center. Actually, bowling balls are hick eggs. Their young emerge mullet-first. Their mothers feed hot wings and Bud Light to them." Hardwick is currently on the road doing standup, and plans to release an album from this tour. 18+.
