If we had our choice between a posh holiday season filled with high fashion, fancy cocktails, and smashing conversation or a December loaded with ugly sweaters, weird Jell-O desserts, and awkward relatives, we know which one we would choose. This Wednesday, fashionistas can party with those who appreciate the more glamorous side of this time of year. Stores and designers flashing their holiday threads include high-end clothes peddler Bumbershute, vintage-inspired menswear by Russell Bourrienne, local fashion designers from the Cliché store, and Italian fashion boutique Il Vostro, among others. Guests can sample cocktails while taking mental notes on what they want to wear this season (special pomegranate liqueur drinks are featured on the menu tonight).
