Where would we be without coffee? Probably shaking and crying in bed while trying to put on socks using only our feet. A day without coffee and caffeine in general is like a day without Chapstick: painful. And though too much of it makes us all jittery and wonky-eyed, as with any quirky friend, we love it regardless. Coffee aficionados can celebrate all things bean at this year's Coffee Fest, now in its 20th year. During the day, guests can get their fix with coffee and tea samples from local brewers like Tillie's Bean and Peace Coffee (as well as national brands), snack on treats from places like the Independent and Muddy Paws, and enjoy entertainment and talks on the fine art of tea and coffee brewing. Guests who spend their day here should walk away with a pleasant buzz and a commemorative coffee mug. What more could you want from an afternoon weekend activity?
