NEMAA Fall Fine Arts Show

Though northeast Minneapolis may be teeming with artists, rarely do they convene at one place. That is exactly what will happen this weekend at the Fall Fine Arts Show, where over 150 Northeast artists will exhibit and sell their work at the Grain Belt Bottling House. Pieces range from paintings to sculptures to mixed-media installations to photography and more. The event starts Friday with an opening party where guests can mingle with artists, enjoy refreshments, and wander about various open studios. Arrive early to vote for your favorite piece in the "People's Choice" award. Art featured throughout the festival will also be juried by experts who have curated for the Soap Factory, Fox Tax Gallery, and the Minneapolis Institute of Arts. (Rain's Letting Up by Berry Holz)
Fri., Nov. 13, 6-10 p.m.; Sat., Nov. 14, 12-6 p.m.; Sun., Nov. 15, 12-3 p.m., 2009
