Space/Time

This group show of work by MCAD students features art inspired by H.G. Wells's 1895 novel, The Time Machine—meaning artists will be focusing heavily on themes of space and time, two subjects unique in that they are often considered as fascinating to scientists as they are to artists. Gallery events include an opening reception from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, November 6, and a gallery talk with Alan Lightman, author of Einstein's Dreams. He will discuss the similarities between the perspectives of artists and scientists at 6:30 p.m. Monday, November 9. (Pictured: Work by Adina Weinand)
