Cabarets are typically meant to titillate their audiences. They're usually colorful, lively, and often exciting performances to watch. One thing they generally are not is undead. But that is the theme of this fundraiser for Patrick's Cabaret. Thankfully, the dancers, musicians, and DJs performing tonight are completely alive. Musical acts include glam-punk band All the Pretty Horses (featuring transgendered artist Venus DeMars), indie rockers My Valkyrie, and funk and house tunes from DJ Spur. Professional dance troupe Kinetic Evolutions will perform, as well as hip-hop dancers Arturo Miles and Nicki Cullinan. There will also be a costume contest, a professional makeup artist, and a silent auction. Rounding out the evening are Mistress Victoria and Heidi Ho, providing what no cabaret should ever be without: drag.
