Just because you’re on a limited budget doesn’t mean you can’t be fabulous. Folks looking to update their wardrobes on the cheap should check out these two free MNFashion Week events well worth your time. Clean out the closet, and bring three to twelve items to the clothing swap on Monday, September 21, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Textile Center (3000 University Ave., Minneapolis; 612.436.0464). Leftovers will be donated Goodwill. Learn some thrift-shopping tips from a local stylist at Re-Fashionista this Tuesday, September 22, at Second Debut (4300 W. 36 1/2 St., St. Louis Park, 952.922.9640).
