"It's about dinosaurs, aliens, and robots, but also boobies," says comedian David Huntsberger of his act. Though he has trouble giving an accurate description of his comedy, he is pretty certain he knows what audiences want. "When people work hard all week," he theorizes, "they come home and just want to turn on reality TV, or something that you don't have to think about, and just relax. I completely understand that. And when people go out to comedy shows, it's the same thing. It's like, 'Come on man, I worked all week. I don't want to think.'" In college, Huntsberger earned a degree in civil engineering with no intention of pursuing the vocation. If he ever comes upon a road-building emergency though, he's ready. "If they need some soil tested, I'm all over it." Today, Huntsberger draws comic books in his spare time, and he wouldn't mind having a big career in the animation arts. He fancies the idea of show-business success with the added bonus of not being recognized on the street. "That would be ideal for me," he muses. "Gary Larson, Mike Judge—they've all had really successful comedy careers, and they don't have to be bothered." 18+.
