There are many great comics performing in the Twin Cities week in and week out. Yet for those on a budget, the ticket price isn't always affordable. However, this comedy showcase at the History Theatre is not only pretty cheap, but the proceeds will go to worthy causes: the theater itself, and Second Harvest Heartland. The five comedians on the bill are a mix of local and national acts, and are guaranteed to bring the funny. Fergus Falls native Chad Daniels has been seen on several Comedy Central specials and enjoys Cadbury eggs. Pompadour-rocking Lord Carrett claims to make sense out of the nonsense in his life. Milo Tremley (a.k.a. James Lee Reeves) offers relationship advice via guitar songs. Another Comedy Central alum, John DeBoer, enjoys twisted observational humor. Isaac Witty rounds out the show. He's appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman, A Prairie Home Companion, and the Bob and Tom Show.
