A free day of entertainment is tough to beat, especially one that includes everybody in the family. September's edition of the Walker's Free First Saturday is jam-packed full of creative activities, with superhero and mythical themes, sprinkled throughout the sculpture garden. Stylish folks can create daring superhero fashions out of recycled materials and tape. Local photographer Sam Hoolihan will be shooting families and portraits in front of special backdrops, and groups can stroll through the sculpture garden with the WAC Family Pack, which is chock-full of hands-on activities. It's the familial art equivalent of Batman's utility belt. Finally, check out the Flexing Force, a rippling, muscle-popping demonstration by bodybuilders Laurey Heinrich, Michelle Soldo, and Ponce Saysomphou from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (courtesy of Laurey Heinrich)
