Bloodshot Records is a Chicago-based independent record label focused on promoting music that doesn't quite fit in any set genre, but may be tagged as country, honky-tonk, punk, soul, blues, and rock, among other things. In honor of its 15th anniversary the label will be throwing a party at the Cedar that promises to be epic. The lineup includes the Waco Brothers, Bobby Bare Jr.'s Young Criminals' Starvation League, Bottle Rockets, Deadstring Brothers, and Ben Weaver, to name only a few. There will also be buckets of Rolling Rock beer, tons of free BBQ (while it lasts), and an art show curated by Austin-based folk and outsider art gallery Yard Dog, featuring work by Exene Cervenka, Jon Langford, and Ben Weaver.
