Stuck at home with the kids this Thursday? This free event is the perfect summertime diversion for those tired of trips to the park or the pool. This year's Peace Games features cultural experiences from five continents (Africa, Asia, South America, North America, Europe—no Antarctica or Australia, for those keeping track). Throughout the day, guests can visit various "villages," each offering interactive games, traditional dance and music, sports, art, and food. There will also be a Peace Parade, as well as free tours of the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, located right across the street. (photo by bıtzı)
