This Friday the Nomad hosts a party for a good cause, the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Fund. Though this may not sound like a wild time, it should be; the party is called Racktacular! a name that contains an exclamation point, after all. Musicians jamming include three pop-rock/indie-rock groups: Hojas Rojas, Aviette, and Maudlin. Also, Lili's Burlesque will shimmy, shake, and sing while sporting blinged-out bras from the Art Bra contest. Grab a beer, bid on the silent auction, and enjoy the evening. HowWasTheShow.com staff writer Donette Ambrosy and her sister, a breast cancer survivor herself, will be participating in the Twin Cities Breast Cancer 3-Day in August. All proceeds raised tonight go toward their pledges for the walk.
