Sure, summertime Shakespeare is about as common as an ice cream social, but this rooftop theatrical presentation offers something different. The Actors Theater of Minnesota will not merely be performing Shakespeare, they will be performing all of Shakespeare. You heard that correctly: Three guys will perform all 37 of William Shakespeare's plays on the rooftop. Bring a blanket, grab a drink (Goose Island beer is $4 a pint on Sundays), and enjoy the downtown views from the sunny lawn on the second level of Brit's. Those worried about feeling like they are sitting through the entire four years of their high school English class should fear not—the production is abridged, and runs only about 97 minutes. Think of it as a highly entertaining crash course on what you missed while you were sleeping.
