In "Formidable Flat," artists Kristina Paabus and Drew Peterson play with our perceptions of space in the real world and on paper. Peterson's prints for the show have layer upon colorful layer, creating an explosive overload in space and time. His work is an intriguing combination of a cartoon "punch!," a head full of acid, and the images that victoriously appear before you after staring at a Magic Eye for far too long. Kristina Paabus plays with real space in her installation works, using felt, cellophane, and wires. Guests are invited to step into the strange, colorful, and detailed world she has created.
