Inspired by the comedy albums of Bill Cosby and Jonathan Winters, comedian Ian Bagg is still a big fan of the format. "I know most guys have DVDs out these days," he says, "but I'm a huge believer in CDs and records. Whoever is listening is using their imagination, and it makes it a whole different thing." The native of Terrace, British Columbia, wanted to be a pro hockey player growing up, until a stint at hockey camp knocked some sense into him. He still loves to play, though. "Yeah I still play every so often," he reminisces. "Every year I play in a month-long tournament in Canada. I'll be the entertainment and end up playing on one team. I basically pretend I've made the NHL and I'm not getting paid to do standup, but I'm getting paid to play hockey. It's kind of cool." 18+.
