Ask anyone who follows the roller derby: Women on wheels with sticks are serious business. For every lap around the track there are countless bruises, broken bones, and drops of sweat. This Saturday the pain will pay off for one team as the season comes to an end. During the championship bout the Violent Femmes will take on the Kilmore Girls while the Banger Sisters try to beat the Delta Delta Di Doors. Attendees can enjoy a full bar and banter by Radio K DJs. Those looking to party afterward should travel on to the Ugly Mug (106 N. Third St., Minneapolis; 612.343.5930) where teams will celebrate.
