It’s a pretty sure bet: Moms like cute things. The cutest, most adorable, melt-your-heart Mother's Day activity is, hands-down, Baby Animals Weekend from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Oliver H. Kelley Farm in Elk River. Yes, it's a bit of a road trip, so it's not suggested if your mom gets on your nerves easily. But if you can tolerate a 40-minute drive together, your mother will surely thank you when you arrive at a farm teeming with fuzzy chicks, lambs, piglets, and more. And moms get in free when the kids pay for tickets.
