ASA Action Sports World Tour

Dangerous sports and screaming Canadian rock music: They go together like sunshine and springtime. Target Center will host this extreme combination on Saturday in the form of the ASA Action Sports World Tour, which includes a performance by British Columbia-bred Theory of a Dead Man. The Target Center's floor will be boasting a 14-and-a-half-foot half-pipe for skateboarders, a triple jump, and a winding racecourse for BMX riders and FMX racers (that's freestyle motocross, for those of you uninitiated into the world of breakneck competition) . Tickets are as cheap as $10, but for the high-roller adrenaline junkies, premium seating goes for $60 and includes a 45-minute meet-and-greet with the athletes. Theory of a Dead Man will close the event, if your heart can handle any more excitement.
Sat., April 25, 6 p.m., 2009
