MNFashion Week: Suffocate

Let’s hear it for local fashion! Award-winning fashion designer Laura Fulk, and recent Fashion Feud competitor at First Ave., will debut her latest line at "Suffocate," a grand party. Why the name? The designer drew inspiration from suffocation, and has woven the theme throughout her sculptural, modern, spring line. This line is also the result of collaborations with painter Melissa Breitenfeldt and tattoo artist Jay Langer. It’s also an example of environmental fashion, eco-friendly fabrics were used in the creation of this line. For a complete list of events visit www.mnfashion.com.

We are all trying to make strides in reducing our environmental impact and preserving our Mother Earth. Every individual on the planet has a role in this effort, but arguably, it is a little more difficult for parents of babies. This is largely due to the amount of "stuff" we need, ie: diapers, bottles, furniture and gear, clothes, and toys, to name a few things, all of which our babies grow out of as quickly as they use them. http://www.greenliving9.com/eco-friendly-products.html
