In a recent Drinking with Ian commercial, host Ian Rans confessed on the steps of the Capitol: "Like most Minneapolis residents, I have been taught to fear and ignore our capitol city, St. Paul, Minnesota." This Saturday, he is conquering that fear as the show takes a field trip from its regular home at First Avenue to tape three shows at the St. Paul Eagles Club. As usual there will be specialty cocktails and live music, plus there will even be an appearance by Mayor Chris Coleman. If you're one of those folks too lazy to cross the river or too poor to go on vacation, this is an excellent opportunity to take a 12.8 mile road trip.
