We live in a democratic society. Ideally, our votes determine the individuals who govern us. In the traveling exhibition, "The Box Game," artists David Horvitz and Lukas Geronimas hope to explore what happens when you apply the democratic process to art. Show up during the day on Thursday, and you will find a black box filled with possibilities for the future. Write what you believe (or desire) to be in the box on a piece of paper, and cast your vote. After they're compiled, votes will be analyzed and itemized during the artists' residency at the Madiman Arts Interaction Center in New Haven, Connecticut. Once the most popular answer is determined, it will be interpreted by the artists, and will tour as part of a new exhibit.
