Sure, piling a bunch of people atop a mattress and sending them down a hill might sound like something you would have done in college, but college was pretty fun, right? This Saturday, in an effort to raise funds for Bridging, Inc., a 501k nonprofit that helps families in need furnish their homes, teams of four are invited to race down Buck Hill tubing-style on queen-sized beds. Also adding to the general wackiness of the event will be a costume contest, so if you're not the fastest bed, at least aim to be the snazziest. Past costumes have included people dressed as breakfast items (bacon, eggs, toast, OJ), ninjas, and board games. Rounding out the evening will be a concert by ELO tribute band E.L.nO.
