Sure, you might have tried to make your dog pull you in your wagon as a kid, but it's just not the same as actually doing it with trained dogs. This Saturday at the Wildlife Science Center you and your little ones can enjoy the real thing as dogsled expert Joel Kersting offers dogsled rides. There will also be a skijoring demonstration. Have no clue what that is? Skijoring is a sport where cross-country skiers use dogs to pull them along. Other activities include gift shopping, and dogsled-themed novelist Scott Miller will also be there to discuss his writing. The show will go on regardless of snow, so don't let the slush deter you from checking out this event.
