Cupid is pretty annoyed. While he tirelessly makes matches, setting people up for happiness and joy, often the best we can come up with is dinner, a movie, and a generic set of roses. How, you ask, can we impress Cupid and our loved one this year? How can we fully appreciate the way love is celebrated around the world and by different species? The Minnesota Zoo has the perfect night planned for romance, whether you are in a long-term relationship and looking to spice things up, or taking someone out for the first time. Love Tour 2009 provides a chance for you and your honey to learn about the love lives of various animals, from courtship to breeding, with a chance to witness exotic romantic rituals. Afterward, enjoy dinner at Discovery Bay and musical entertainment by First Light. Sparkling wine and menu items described with words like "gastrique," "compote," and "frizzled" ensure a palatable experience. Proceeds benefit the Minnesota Zoo's Conservation Programs. 21+.
