Nothing says romance like two arched spines gliding in synchrony over fancy footwork. The Beyond Ballroom Dance Company gets that, and a whole lot more. These professional champions are ballroom dancers with a classical bent (no to bombastic Dancing with the Stars acrobatic stunts) and a thoroughly modern twist (yes to exploding ballroom dance stereotypes and tripping to unconventional music). Their "Book of Love" Valentine's show looks at the lighter and darker sides of romantic love in dances set to music ranging from "Love Stinks" by the J. Geils Band to Meatloaf's "Paradise by the Dashboard Light." Take your sweetie and experience the many-splendored variety of intricate rhythms meeting and two hearts beating as one.
