Stuart Pimsler may be our most literate choreographer, an animator of ideas as much as of bodies. Appropriately, he'll be presenting a remount of the provocative "Rooms of Disquiet" at the Playwrights' Center. Inspired by Kafka's stories and Hitchcock's slyly salacious Rear Window, this dancetheater work reveals intrepid characters implicated in one another's lives who dream big and stop at nothing to gain satisfaction. Plot sound familiar? Perhaps. Only this one plays itself out in rooms nowhere near Wall Street or Washington D.C. Stuart Pimsler Dance & Theater's versatile and highly individual performers explore boundaries of secret desire with both grit and finesse. For tickets call 763.521.SPDT.
