Sure, calling the event "Fallen Angels" opens the door for a lot of weak-sauce pickup lines, but rest assured, the Minnesota Rollergirls can handle them. Delicate flowers these girls ain't. And thank god they aren't, because the sport just wouldn't be as badass and fun to watch if they were worrying about breaking a nail or messing up their weave. This Saturday features a doubleheader, as the Dagger Dolls roll against the Garda Belts and the Atomic Bombshells try to drop the bomb on the Rockits. But just because they enjoy kicking each other's asses doesn't mean that they don't care about the kiddies: Bring a gently used children's book and receive $2 off admission.
