In light of recent events, it may be hard to gauge just how tough Ford really is. But this Saturday, Monster Jam puts on a brave, manly, American face in the form of gigantic trucks smashing smaller cars. A metaphor? Perhaps. But in some ways the show is about machinery at its strongest, most impressive, and to some, endearing. Endearing in that man can make and operate something so complex, potentially destructive, and ultimately entertaining. The usual vehicular celebrities will be on hand, including Grave Digger, Air Force Afterburner, Taz, and Bounty Hunter, with Faribault native Jim Bendzick behind the wheel of Rolling Thunder.
