Finding a happy hour on the weeknights is pretty easy, and even Sunday brunch can be cheap and boozy if you Google the right place. Saturday-afternoon happy hour, on the other hand, is a slightly rarer thing. Sushi Tango actually has one, and it happens during the desirable hours of noon to 6 p.m. I say desirable because unless your idea of weekend fun is getting wasted in a pleather miniskirt in a crowded bar, you probably want to stay the hell away from the Lake and Hennepin area on Friday and Saturday nights. During the day, though? Perfectly nice. Really. Sushi Tango is ideal for those taking in an early movie at the Lagoon or Uptown, or after a little afternoon shopping. Happy hour features a damn good $3 Bloody Mary, a $1 off rails and beer, and appetizers that mostly stay in the $3-or-under range. You will also find sushi at bargain-bin prices, including greatest hits like the California Roll, caterpillar, salmon skin, and something I have yet to try, which is simply referred to on the menu as "crunchy." If you can't make it on a Saturday, the happy hour also runs noon to 6 p.m. Thursday through Sunday, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and 10 p.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday.
