Times are looking tough here in the Twin Cities for nonprofit arts organizations. Creative spaces, including Intermedia Arts and the Minnesota Center for Photography, have sadly gone the way of the dodo this year. But that doesn't mean that art is extinct. Celebrating their luck in survival with a little hedonism, SooVac will mark seven years of art with a little sin. You can lust after art for sale during the silent auction, with pieces by local talents including Isaac Arvold, Jennifer Davis, Bethany Kalk, Amy Rice, Sean Smuda, Sean Tubridy, Twenty-Seven, and many more. Witness the pride of those who work hard to keep the organization going. Envy the talent evident in performances by Les Femmes Cabaret and music by Martin Dosh and Jon Davis. There'll be plenty of gluttony with food and drinks. Don't indulge in sloth, get out to the art gallery this Saturday. Greed and wrath? No, thank you. Leave those for the economy.
