Built in 1890, Pracna on Main Boasts quite an impressive history: It is the oldest restaurant on the oldest street in Minneapolis. Ye olde hotspot features excellent river views, a gorgeous patio (which is still a little too cold to enjoy right now, alas), and close proximity to St. Anthony Main Movie Theater, making it an ideal spot for a date-night nightcap or icebreaker. Though a decidedly American bar in menu selections, the dark wood and old feel of the decor prompt comparisons to an Irish pub. Friendly servers offer around 20 different beers on tap, and those taps become $3 a pint every day between the magical hours of 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Some consider the bar walkable from Dinkytown, though if you're traveling via vehicle, finding a lot or some street parking in front shouldn't be a problem.
