This new production of Grease, descending from Broadway to the Orpheum, was nominated for a 2008 Tony and named Best Musical of the Year in Time magazine. It boasts the added bonus of including songs from the movie, such as "Hopelessly Devoted to You," and "You're the One That I Want," in addition to such ear candy as "Greased Lightnin'" and "Summer Nights." Broadway musicals don't get much more pop, or catchy, than this story of high school life, going steady, and cruising (of the automotive variety).
