Free First Saturday: Styled By Saarinen

Modern art and kids might not be two things you would naturally put together like peanut butter and jelly, but spend one day with the little ones at the Walker's Free First Saturdays and you will begin to connect the two. Always free and always fun, this month's activities center on the "Eero Saarinen: Shaping the Future" exhibit, which closes this week. Parents are, after all, shaping the future. Kids can enjoy fancy Native American dance performances by Larry and Jessup Yazzie, story time, film screenings, and an art activity in which kids can make an animal-, plant-, or insect-inspired chair.
