It's Christmas Eve, you're alone, you're bored, and you want to be entertained. This is a dangerous situation, and it's one that's best remedied by some sort of social event that'll get you out of your lonely, vodka-stocked domicile. And seeing as how most bars and establishments in the metro area are under the inexplicable delusion that there's nobody out there who wants to get sozzled on the 24th, it's a fortuitous bit of luck that downtown Minneapolis hotspot The Lounge decided to throw their doors open. With festive drink specials (including some egg nog-related beverages) and a soundtrack provided by DJ Galuck and DJ Anba, your Christmas Eve entertainment options have gotten a lot less hopeless.
