It's undeniable that DJ AM and Travis Barker have had a rough year. As many know, this summer the friends were in a plane wreck that resulted in the deaths of four people, and the two performers suffered serious burns. So, not to be a major bummer, the two certainly have their lives to celebrate as they enter 2009. You can party with them, too, as they host a shindig in Los Angeles, which will be aired live nationally in select clubs. Looking for something a little more live? No worries. Epic, which is located in the old Quest space, will also host a bevy of live DJ sets (D.Mil and Timmay are two slated to perform), live music with the New Congress and beat boxers Ill Chemistry, as well as performances by Vox Medusa Dancers, hula hooper Jessica Bessette, fire performers, and aerialists. KDWB's Dave Ryan and ESPN's Kristen Aldridge are slated to host. Champagne, snacks, and tons of bar spots will be open as well to ensure you won't waste any time waiting in line.
