A Million Lights for 37th Nights

So you've already seen Holidazzle, and you've checked out the cool houses around town. Or maybe you've avoided the parade because sitting outside amid a freezing crowd on Nicollet Mall just isn't your thing. Either way, there's one more sparkly Christmas spectacle to take in. For the first time ever, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers have put together A Million Lights for 37 Nights to raise funds for charity. Located at Phalen Park and Golf Course, the drivable route is approximately half a mile long and features 43 displays loaded with ice castles, elves, gingerbread men, reindeer, and other winter-themed characters that you can rubberneck over from the warm comfort of your car. All net proceeds raised from the tour will benefit local charities, including Second Harvest Heartland, Union Gospel Mission, Saint Paul Parks Conservancy Foundation, and UnderConstruction.
