If you've watched any TV lately, you know that Monster Jam is coming. The rambunctious commercials with a throaty voiceover and video of mammoth trucks being torn apart have been on repeat on certain channels for days now with their promises of a high-octane sport and, of course, the much-ballyhooed party in the pits for the kiddies. The Metrodome will be packed to the gills with exhaust and the biggest names in monster-truck racing, including the perennial favorite Grave Digger (which packs as much horsepower as 23 Geo Metros) driven by the Tiger Woods of monster trucks, Dennis Anderson. Anderson actually got his big break in the sport at a race in 1986 in St. Paul at which he beat the favored Bigfoot.
