There's nothing like the homey feeling of a comfortable and familiar place. For some it's a neighborhood bar, or a quiet corner in a favorite coffee shop. Early in the season, the Timberwolves have already found themselves in their favorite hangout: near the bottom of the standings. Only a few games in this year, they're not exactly instilling confidence in the faithful. After squeaking a 2-point win out over the dreadful Sacramento Kings in the season opener, the Wolves handed first-year franchise Oklahoma City Thunder their very first win as an NBA team. There's not a ton of hope for a playoff berth this season; even owner Glenn Taylor is saying that's not a realistic goal for the rebuilding Wolves. But there are a few things worth howling about in T-Wolves country. Kevin Love, the much-drooled-over rookie, made a respectable debut by scoring 12 points and gathering 9 rebounds, and Al Jefferson is racking up nearly 20 points per game. The best part about the dreary prospects for the season, however, is that there will be plenty of good seats available at Target Center for fairly cheap. Hooray for low expectations!
