Tonight We Abide: The Big Lebowski Party

If the dude were a real person, I could see him digging Bryant-Lake Bowl. There's beer, good eats, old-school bowling (you score your rounds with a piece of paper and a pencil)—the decor even looks like something out of a Big Lebowski dream sequence. So it makes sense that Bryant-Lake Bowl would celebrate its 15-year anniversary with a Halloween party that pays tribute to the greatest bowling movie ever made. Costumes are recommended, so bust out your scruffiest bathrobe and flip flops, stuffed ferret and form-fitting nihilist wear, Little Lebowski Urban Achiever uniform, or plastic Viking gear. Tonight, you abide by the Dude's world. There'll be a costume contest, DJ Christian Fritz spinning the best from Coen brothers flicks, and plenty of Dude-a-Reenos (a.k.a. white Russians). There will also be a bowling tournament, but be sure to call first to sign up; spaces will be filled quickly.
