Sure, you may be a little too old to trick-or-treat, and you can buy your own damn candy anyway, but that doesn't mean that you can't celebrate Halloween. Perhaps the scariest option, the Soap Factory once again revives its Haunted Basement. Plunk down $15 and sign a liability waiver (no, really) for admittance to their unfinished 100-year-old factory basement. There you will be handed a flashlight whereby you can gaze upon old rusted sinks, creepy art, and all the spookiness you can handle. The event is 18+, but 13-and-up are welcome if they bring a guardian. If you want a guarantee that you will get in, be sure to make a reservation at www.soapfactory.org. The basement is haunted daily through November 2 from 6 p.m. to midnight.
