Saint Paul-itics: Bill Arnold

By Jessica Armbruster

Published on August 20, 2008 at 3:25am

Recently, I went to a politically minded happy hour with a friend. Sitting there with a beer in hand, I listened to some local politician attempting to explain to the room how some obscure super delegate function works. Fifteen minutes in, he was still talking, but I was watching the TV behind his head. As part of the Saint Paul-itics series, Triple Espresso comedian Bill Arnold will lead a talk on politics, the electoral process, and the pending RNC with knowledge as well as a heavy dose of humor. Hoping to avoid the feel of a civics class, Arnold will make light of the current race and highlight fun ways to become active in your community. He will also answer any "stupid" questions you might have about our wacky, complicated, and sometimes confusing election process.
