Patrick Brandt "Live Life Give Love" Celebration

Before he passed away from a brain tumor earlier this year, Patrick Brandt was best friends with Olympic gold medalist Kristi Yamaguchi and her husband, local boy-turned-NHL-star Bret Hedican. Inspired by their friend, the couple has teamed up to put on one heck of a fundraiser for Brandt's wife Jesse and little boys Wes, 4, and Charlie, 2. Matchbox 20 frontman Rob Thomas, fresh off his band's highly successful reunion, will perform, and Yamaguchi and partner Mark Ballas will show off the dance moves that earned them victory on ABC's Dancing with the Stars. There will also be a silent auction to raise money for the family. Items up for bidding include a five-day recording session with a producer in California, a trip to hang out with the Smashing Pumpkins, and VIP access to next season's premiere of Dancing with the Stars. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society. 21+.
