Jim Lee

In the comic book/graphic novel world, illustrator and publisher Jim Lee is a giant who has worked on many strips and projects. He's been an illustrator for The Punisher, he re-imagined the Marvel X-Men series in the late '80s and early '90s, he co-created the super-popular DC Comics' Hush series as well as the All Star Batman story arc, and more recently he has served as the main art director for a new DC Comics/Sony Entertainment massive multiplayer online game. Known for his clean lines and pumped up, anatomically idealistic character design, some may argue that Jim Lee (no relation to Stan) is one of the most influential illustrators and pencillers of our time. This Saturday, he visits The Source, where he will partake in some live sketching, sign autographs, and even view portfolios. Also on hand will be costumed characters, local artists, and other treats.
